Consistency is more Effective than Irregular High Intensity

If we know what we want and why we want it then let’s not be stressed over the not knowing how/steps to achieve it. Know your why, what and keep asking questions; the answer will come. To begin with we do not need to know how to reach the goal. Will add an interesting related story from Bhaghabhat Gita next time.

On many occasions complexity is behind procrastination and it hinders execution and progress . Chop big elephant into small pieces and then take baby steps. Take baby steps regularly to turn it into habit to reduce resistance.

If we improve 1% every day/make 1% progress towards our goal then that could be 365% improvement.

However due to compounding there will be 3700% or 37 times improvement.

Boring and simple will work to reach our goal too. The process of making money is boring . Do not make stock investment complex. Make it simple and boring. Simple does not indicate easy. To clarify, due to resistance and different self sabotaging habit even a simple step may not be easy.

Many times we think that we are too smart for achieving the success that late. We incorrectly assume that if success is not coming that soon for a smart people like us then the goal may not be the right one. I am not saying that we do not need to pivot but I am cautioning against killing a project too soon. Starting and not finishing is equivalent to not not starting at all. Our counter intention may be creating resistance and making the manifestation process taking longer. Many times we think we are too smart to do a boring thing. We over analyze, over engineer and complicate things. We think we re too smart to do simple thing. Also habit is more important than intensity. Doing a big chunk of work one day for a goal achievement and then not doing anything regularly for a while kills the momentum. These types of attitudes hinder progress.

So let’s be consistent. Let’s take baby steps daily and see huge impact/huge achievement in a year due to compounding.
